A lot of couples choose a stretch white limousine take them to the reception from the ceremony. Limos are very elegant and have become somewhat of the standard for weddings. If you are looking for something a little different here are seven memorable alternatives.

1. Horseback

You don’t even need to worry about the fact that you’re wearing a dress! Sit atop a beautiful stallion with your new spouse, either both riding in traditional fashion or sit with your legs draping over the side! If you like the romance of having a beautiful horse whisk you and your loved one away but you’re not crazy about the thought of actually being on the horse’s back, this is a great option! Think horseback but for the more daring and adventurous couple! Arriving at your reception on a Harley is actually quite romantic. Soar through the skies a little differently in a hot air balloon! Several companies offer types of balloons designed especially for weddings. Simply have the hot air balloon ready to leave the ceremony and then climb in with your loved one!

7. Land Rovers

This type of transportation is great for an outdoors ceremony and perfect for the adventurous couple! If you enjoy dirt biking or going off-roading together, this is a perfect way to incorporate a little personality into the wedding ceremony!
